UFC BJJ 3 is scheduled for October 2nd, 2025 and the full card includes a pair of title-fights. The belts are on the line in the final matches of the night, starting off with Carlos Henrique defending the lightweight title against Matheus Gabriel in the co-main event. Immediately after that in the main event, the bantamweight title is up for grabs when Mikey Musumeci faces Keven Carrasco. Although those are the only five-round matches on the card, there’s still going to be plenty of action beforehand thanks to some very exciting matchups. There’s also title-implications in some of them, as a few competitors are returning after already making successful debuts on previous events.

Kennedy Maciel is already 1-0 after winning a tough match at UFC BJJ 2 and he has a very tough opponent here in Samuel Nagai, so a win might be enough to get him a chance to become the first middleweight champion. He’s already asked about a title-shot in fact, but Claudia Gadelha reportedly told him to ‘move faster’ in order to earn it. Maciel isn’t alone though, there’s a few other competitors here who would make a strong case for one with another win here. Cassia Moura won her debut at UFC BJJ 1 and she’s up against Alex Enriquez now, so a win for either woman might convince the promotion to create a female featherweight title.

Jalen Fonacier is also returning here after winning his debut and will face Pedro Nakano in the first match of the night, but it’s hard to imagine he gets a bantamweight title-shot seeing as his teammate Musumeci is the champion there. Then there’s Daniel Sathler; who is making his first appearance but it’s against former welterweight title-challenger Andy Varela, so he might be next in line if he can get the win. Jansen Gomes and Kris Olivo are also on the card against Gustavo Batista and Andy Murasaki respectively, while Shye Lilly faces Ana Mayordomo in the only other women’s match.
