UFC BJJ 2 is scheduled for July 31st, 2025 and the promotion has just announced the full card for their second event. There will be two titles on the line and the first one that was announced is also the promotion’s first ever title-defense. Andrew Tackett will be attempting to defend his welterweight title against Renato Canuto, a matchup that was actually teased very early on. Long before it was officially booked, the two men effectively announced it themselves by facing off on the mat immediately after Tackett won the belt at UFC BJJ 1. Then in the co-main event just before that, the promotion will be crowning it’s first ever light-heavyweight champion.

Mason Fowler faces David Garmo for the inaugural light-heavyweight title, and the stylistic matchup should produce some entertaining moments for the fans. There will also be another interesting match between William Tackett and Kyle Chambers; one that Tackett will be eager to win after getting submitted by Chambers in their first meeting. There’s plenty of other great matchups throughout the UFC BJJ 2 card as well, and the one with the biggest implications is actually up first. Everton Teixeira and Jalen Fonacier will be meeting in a battle between two of the best bantamweights in the world, with both men eyeing up a title-shot.

Mikey Musumeci is the reigning bantamweight champion after he won the main event match at UFC BJJ 1 and both Teixeira and Fonacier could earn a title-shot with a win here. There’s just one problem for both of them, and that’s that Geo Martinez is already being targeted for Musumeci’s first title-defense at UFC BJJ 3. Although Musumeci will not be competing this time around, he will almost certainly be in attendance cornering his longest-serving training partner. His sister and fellow world champion Tammi Musumeci makes her promotional debut against Leilani Bernales in what should be a fun matchup for the fans.
