Team grappling events are always fun, as they provide a unique take on the traditional professional grappling rulesets. Hammer Challenge Series 9 was no exception, as the promotion put together a lineup of four 3-woman teams to compete against one another in a round-robin tournament. There was plenty of action throughout the night and this particular match saw Villain Era compete against The Wild Cards. Marissa Pacelli, Nicole Mathew, and Lydia Bergamasco were representing Villain Era while The Wild Cards were made up of Cathryn Ivy, Jenna Suydam, and Jackie Gates.
Villain Era were in fantastic form throughout the night, as they won all three of their team matches by pretty wide margins. They defeated both Sunday Open Mat and Muscles & Mimosas 6-3 in their other two matches, while this one against The Wild Cards saw them put up a fantastic 6-0 win. All three of the women competing on the team had a great night of results and will no doubt go on to put on even more great performances in the future. Likewise, the next Team Duels event that Hammer Challenge Series stages promises to provide just as much high-level grappling action as this one did.
