Finishers: Summer Bash 3 took place on July 20th and the promotion put on some fun superfights along with a 155lbs Who’s Number One Qualifier tournament that delivered crazy results. The majority of the matches ended in submission and there were some particularly exciting ones at various points. That shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise considering the high level of talent that the Qualifier tournament attracted. In fact the very first match of the tournament produced one of the rarest submissions around, as Michael John submitted Deshawn Casseus with a brutal Executioner; otherwise known as the Dragon Sleeper.

The opening round continued with some more memorable moments too, particularly when Asher Castro locked up a lightning-quick armbar out of nowhere to submit Cole Kelly. Julian Espinosa was one of the early favorites and he had a great run to the final, beating three opponents to get there. The other side of the bracket saw Isaac Cordova go on an absolute tear though, beating both Sid Tavolaro and Jack Sear on his way to meet Espinosa in the final. In the end it was Cordova who managed to get the win, as he submitted Espinosa and earned the opportunity to compete on the next WNO event.
