Finishers: Money In The Bank 2 took place on July 26th, 2025 and 17 lightweights were battling it out for $1,000 and the right to challenge the reigning champion Matt Masch. Nick Digiacomo had an impressive run and showed off great positional dominance with three wins to book his place in the final, but the star of the show was standing opposite him. Sid Tavolaro has been a top prospect for a while now and the young Standard Jiu-Jitsu competitor has made huge leaps in skill lately, but this was his moment to shine. He did exactly that and tore through the bracket with his aggressive style and relentless pace.

Tavolaro pulled guard in his first match with Yorgos Vassilou and used slick rubber guard setup to submit him with an armbar almost immediately. The second match was even quicker, as he caught Lucas Jones with another armbar in just 20 seconds. Although he was up against his teammate Logan Hicks in the final, he kept up the same pace and took just 40 seconds to submit him with a heel hook. Digiacomo had a similar experience in the final, as Tavolaro locked up his third armbar of the night in just 40 seconds again. Tavolaro took less than 3 minutes to submit 4 opponents and his upcoming title-fight with Masch is clearly going to be intense.
