Fight 2 Win have just announced that they will be hosting events in Canada for the first time ever, starting with their debut in the country in Vancouver on August 3rd, 2024. They aren’t going to be wasting any time either, as they are also planning on visiting both Toronto and Montreal by the end of the year as well. It’s a huge move for the promotion as they begin to expand further around North America, and this could potentially be the start of more international events. It’s big news for the Canadian grappling scene as well, as the country has been growing tremendously in recent years and this just means more competition opportunities for their grapplers.

The news comes after Fight 2 Win have spent several years travelling around the United States and making a name for themselves as one of the most popular professional grappling promotions in the country. It all started with Seth Daniels back in 2008, as he created the first version of Fight 2 Win as a regional MMA promotion that enjoyed good success. After several years of doing that, the promotion transitioned to what it is today back in 2015 when he decided to focus on grappling matches exclusively.

In the 9 years that have followed, Fight 2 Win have traveled almost every inch of the United States and put on more than 250 events. They are such a massive presence in the landscape of professional grappling in the United States that it’s safe to say that the sport wouldn’t look the same there without them. So many top competitors have gotten some of their first matches on the Fight 2 Win stage and plenty of them have returned to headline events later in their career. Now competitors in Canada will get to enjoy the same benefits that American grapplers have gotten from having Fight 2 Win all these years.

Fight 2 Win announced the news that they were going to be hosting their first ever events in Canada in a recent post to their official Instagram account:
