Subversion: Conquest is due to take place on November 23rd, 2024 and the promotion has put together a great card that features some of the best talent from Australia and beyond. There’s going to be two of the promotion’s titles on the line, in both the main and co-main event of the evening. Before either of those matches happen, there’s plenty of fun superfights booked as well. Perhaps the most notable of them is the return of elite leglocker Robert Degle, who is coming off a submission win at Subversion: Origin 2. Degle is taking on one of the promotion’s most frequent competitors, talented Australian black belt Mick De Marco.
The first title-fight of the night is at welterweight, as the promotion looks to crown it’s first champion in the division. Joao Marco is also coming off a submission win at Subversion: Origin 2 and he’ll be challenging the fantastic young competitor Cooper Burnham for the title. That will lead straight into the main event, where Nicholas Maglicic will be facing off with Declan Moody for the interim heavyweight championship. It’s a short-notice match for Maglicic, as he got the opportunity on just a few days’ notice when reigning champion Josh Saunders had to withdraw from his match with Moody. The winner of this match will then face Saunders for the unified title in his first defense since becoming the inaugural champion at Subversion: Ascension.
