Spokane Submission Series 4 is scheduled for March 1st, 2025 and the promotion has announced a card that’s full of high-level matches. It was originally supposed to be headlined by a match between Pat Downey and UFC veteran Deron Winn, but Downey has had to withdraw after suffering an injury in an earlier competition. He has now been replaced by another former UFC fighter, Phil Hawes, who has stepped in to face Winn in the main event. The promotion is one of a handful to use a pit for their matches and seeing as both men have very strong wrestling backgrounds, they’ll probably need it.

There’s several other big names competing elsewhere on the card, starting with rising star Rana Willink early on in the night. Jaine Fragoso and Zack Schneider will also be competing later on, as they’re up against Sarah Paul and Travis Szalay respectively. Top 10th Planet representative Fedor Nikolov will also be appearing against Charlie Gilpin and veteran grappling fans will recognise legendary filmmaker Stuart Cooper, who faces off with Alex Larmey. Joao Nicolite and Diego Ramalho will face Aaron Tiegs and Carlos Tassone at the event as well, while one of the final matches announced is actually the most important. Paige Ivette and Maria Ruffatto will be meeting in a battle between two top competitors that could have a noticeable effect on the rankings in their weight class.
