EBI 25 took place on September 12th, 2025 and 16 elite lightweights battled it out to be crowned the promotion’s latest champion. 10th Planet veteran competitor Keith Krikorian had a great run to the final, submitting all three of his opponents and only needing to go to overtime once. Krikorian caught Jonathan Wilson and top prospect Raphael Ferreira with a pair of heel hooks to start with, before going on to have his longest match of the night opposite Gianni Grippo. Krikorian and Grippo put on an epic match that went in to overtime to determine a winner, but Krikorian sunk in the rear-naked choke to book his place in the final.

He met another rising star there, as 19 year-old Landon Elmore ran through the other side of the bracket in incredible form. He submitted late-replacement Roman Corona with a heel hook in the opening round before getting a huge win in the quarter-finals, where he submitted UFC veteran Bryce Mitchell with another heel hook. He faced one of his teammates in the next round but he didn’t let the training sessions at Kingsway Jiu-Jitsu get in his way, as he hit Reese Lafever with another quick submission. Although the final with Krikorian looked like his toughest test on paper, he got it done in less than a minute with yet another leglock to win the EBI lightweight title and $20,000.
