The October 2025 update has been applied to the Jits Magazine BJJ Rankings and the full standings can be found here. There were changes across multiple divisions in both gi and no gi this month, with many of them down to a series of superfight events that took place in September. The biggest impact in the no gi divisions came from the ADCC European, Middle-Eastern, and African Trials 2025; marking the start of a new cycle that always results in several new stars emerging over the course of a year. Then the month finished off with the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam in Chengdu, where several top gi grapplers stepped on the mats and there were a few upsets along the way.
