The August 2024 update has been applied to the Jits Magazine BJJ Rankings and the full standings can be found here. July was a pretty slow month as far as elite competition is concerned, and understandably so. It was sandwiched between the two biggest tournaments of the entire year, with the IBJJF World Championship 2024 taking place in June and ADCC 2024 booked for August. This means that a lot of the best gi competitors in the world were taking some time off and the best no gi grapplers are right in the middle of their training camps. The Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Tour – Rio de Janeiro 2024 had some effect on a lot of the gi divisions though, while the no gi divisions remained pretty quiet.
