The BJJ Clubes Grand Finale 2024 took place on December 15th, 2024 and the teams competing gave it everything they had to win the title. The season began just under 3 months ago with their first quarter-final and the second quarter-final followed shortly after. Those two events whittled down the lineup from 8 teams to 4 and that’s when the two sides of the bracket collided in the semi-final. That night was 6 weeks ago and it set the stage for this event, where all 4 of those teams would return for the third-place playoff and the final. Corinthians and Camboriu were meeting to determine who would finish third, while the final saw Botafago and Cruzeiro battling it out.
The third-place playoff was never in doubt really, as Corinthians won the first 5 matches in a row to seal their victory. Gabriel Galvao got the only submission of the third-place playoff and although Camboriu won the final 2 matches, it was far too late at that point. The final started off much the same and although it took an additional match before it was decided, Botafogo still ran away with it by the end. They with a score of 5-2 as well, although Cruzeiro’s Leonardo Ferreira delivered one of the highlights of the night in the last match when he hit the only submission of the final against Anderson Munis.
