ADXC 7 took place on November 17th, 2024 and there was some excellent results all throughout the card. The night started out with three children’s BJJ matches and all three of them put on a great show, particularly top Brazilian prospect Daniel Poncio. The rest of the preliminary card was just as exciting too, with some great performances from Helena Crevar and Ruan Alvarenga in particular. Crevar submitted Sabrina de Sousa in her match and Alvarenga put an incredible pace on his opponent to win a decision. Jessica Dantas closed out the preliminary card, beating Eliana Carauni by decision to finish the first run of matches with an exciting battle.
Henrique ‘Ceconi’ Cardoso got revenge against Javier Zaruski in the first match of the main card, winning a decision against him in their second match this year and going 1-1 in their series with one another. There were several other entertaining matchups that ended in a decision after that, as Lucas Valente and Aurelie Le Vern earned big wins over Espen Mathiesen and Ana Vieira respectively. The first co-main event of the evening was up after that and it was a gi match between two elite competitors, but Meyram Maquine looked to be in great form as he submitted Sebastian Serpa with an armlock.
The second co-main event featured MMA legend Gesias Cavalcante showing off his high-level Jiu-Jitsu by winning a decision over veteran competitor Piter Frank. The twin main event matches took place next, starting with a gi match between different generations of grapplers. Paulo Miyao showed that experience beats youth though, as he put on an excellent show and beat top prospect Junior Righetti by decision. Rodolfo Vieira returned to BJJ competition in the final match of the night and although he had tough opposition from fellow UFC veteran Derek Brunson, he locked up his patented arm-triangle choke to get the submission win.
