The ADCC Orlando Open 2023 took place on November 4th, 2023 and the tournament attracted some of the best grapplers around. The winners varied from veteran competitors to top prospects in the sport, and the women’s divisions in particular featured a number of exciting matches. Jasmine Rocha won both the under 60kg division and the absolute division, while Talita Alencar won the under 55kg division and Maggie Grindatti won the under 65kg division. The men’s divisions were equally exciting, from the lightest weight classes all the way up to the very heaviest ones.
Andrew DeGraff led the way for the young competitors by winning gold in the under 60kg division, but veterans emerged victorious in a lot of other weight classes. Jordan Holy stood on top of the podium at under 70kg, while top grappler Luccas Lira emerged victorious at under 91kg. There were big names at both under and over 100kg as well, with the first weight class being won by Fellipe Trovo and the second by Joao Costa. By the time the dust had settled on the ADCC Orlando Open 2023, the fans had been treated to a ton of high-level grappling action and some fantastic performances by elite competitors.
