ACBJJ 20 took place on December 17th, 2025 and the promotion finished the year out with an excellent event featuring top BJJ and MMA competitors together. The biggest names were at the top of the card of course, with UFC veterans Alexander Volkov and Arman Tsarukyan both getting big wins at the end of the night. Tsarukyan was particularly impressive, as he continued his run of dominant performances in grappling matches with yet another submission win. Tsarukyan won the inaugural ACBJJ All-Stars title but he wasn’t the only man to leave with a belt; there were several on the line before that.
The first title won was also the lightest, as Gairbeg Ibragimov showed off his slick back-taking ability and submitted Kamil Wilk with a rear-naked choke to become the under 65kg champion. The very next match saw Felipe Costa win the under 95kg title with a great counter-heel hook against Ayub Gudanatov, and that was followed by the only gi title-fight where Jonnatas Gracie got a win over Diego Sodre at under 75kg. Although each one of these title-fights featured some of the top Jiu-Jitsu competitors in the world, it was probably the under 85kg one next that was the most hotly-anticipated.
Pedro Marinho battled it out with Lucas ‘Hulk’ Barbosa in a real test of wills, as both men are among the toughest opponents in their weight class and they share a very physically imposing game. The final title up for grabs was the over 95kg belt and although Yatan Bueno was probably the favorite on paper, Ruslan Abdulaev has an incredibly difficult game to deal with. Abdulaev regularly stifles top competitors and grinds them out with top pressure, but Bueno actually got the upper hand with an early takedown. Abdulaev hit a sweep about halfway through and spent almost all of the rest of the match on top, winning a pretty close decision.
