The biggest BJJ training camp in the world is returning for its 11th edition in 2026, as preparations are already underway for the next BJJ Summer Week. Although the dust has barely settled on the last edition of the week-long Jiu-Jitsu festival, the date for the next one has already been announced. It will take place from September 16th to 20th, 2026 and Sardinia, Italy will be playing host to over a thousand grapplers once again. Coaches, competitors, and recreational practitioners from all around the world flock to the beautiful island every year and the event has grown exponentially since it was first founded in 2015.
Over the last decade some of the greatest minds in the history of the sport have taught seminars at BJJ Summer Week, from Roger Gracie to Andre Galvao and Demian Maia to Jean Jacques Machado. The instructors for 2026 have not yet been confirmed but judging from past editions, it will be a unique opportunity for attendees to experience the highest level of instruction in the world from multiple different sources. There’s always something to learn for both beginners and experienced practitioners alike, and plenty of time to test it out by rolling with the other attendees.
Although the elite instruction is the biggest factor for any BJJ enthusiast, there’s also a lot to enjoy in Sardinia outside the camp. There’s excursions, Yoga classes, talks, and a city tour across each day so there’s always something to do once the rolling ends. With a little under 10 months left to go before BJJ Summer Week 2026 takes place, there’s also deep discounts available for early attendees. Prices currently start from as little as €490 for training alone and €660 with accommodation included, and there’s also a Black Friday sale fast approaching.
