Since then, Jones has won two silver medals in different weightclasses at the ADCC world championship, and two Polaris titles at different weights too. He trained under John Danaher as part of the Danaher Death Squad for a while before opening up his own gym, B-Team Jiu-Jitsu, alongside Nicky Rodriguez, Nicky Ryan, and Ethan Crelinsten. Craig Jones is one of the top no gi grappling competitors on the planet and has also served as the grappling coach for UFC world champion Alexander Volkanovski.
