Polaris 19 delivered a night full of exciting results from start to finish as two of the promotion’s champions put their belts on the line against game opponents. Shortly before that there was a huge upset as relative newcomer to the elite competitive scene Owen Livesey managed to use fantastic wrestling to outwork Polaris UK Grand Prix champion Freddie Vosgrone, just a matter of months after he had his first match on the promotion’s mats. The next fight saw Polaris triple-champion and ADCC European trials winner Ashley Williams defend his Lightweight title against Jack Sear and although Sear put up a great fight, Williams ended up winning the unanimous decision with little controversy.

The next fight saw Kendall Reusing defend her newly-acquired openweight title against Amanda Leve and although she looked to be in great form from the start, the match was tragically cut short as Leve suffered an injury to her foot and was not able to continue. The main event then saw a non-title bout between two young and hungry competitors in Roberto Jimenez and Magid Hage. Hage always says that nobody has more fun than him and that seemed obvious from the fast-paced and frantic match between the two, but in the end it was Jimenez who emerged victorious after taking his back and locking up the rear-naked choke.
