Grapplefest 20 took place on February 28th, 2026 and the event marked a huge step forward for the promotion; it being the first of their new partnership with ADCC. Although Grapplefest have been a key player in the European professional grappling circuit for a while now, becoming the official ADCC European superfight show is a massive opportunity for growth. The shift in rulesets appears to have worked well too, as almost all of the matches here ended in a submission win. Some of them were pretty rare sights too, with James Bullingham hitting a Scottish Twister on the prelims and Sam Colson opening the main card with a Z-lock finish.

Stuart Cooper made an appearance later on in the night and got an impressive win on points over Luke Johnson, while MMA veteran Jack Grant submitted Ian Butler with a D’arce Choke immediately after. ADCC veteran Brandon Reed had a great battle with Josh Gibbs in the next match; submitting him with a rear-naked choke and setting up the night’s title-fights brilliantly. UK fan-favorite Ben Bennett scored a big upset against Jacob Couch in the co-main event, submitting him with a Texas Cloverleaf to take home the under 90kg title. Then in the main event, Keith Krikorian closed the show with a heel hook win against Antony de Oliveira to remain the under 70kg champion.
